Indeed, I installed everything manually.
your post is rising hope !
In fact i had as well an result with the regular module calendar which led to thje aforementioned fault as well. May be this is the same outcome.
I will effort with composer.
THANK You lot VERY MUCH
thierry
hi, i am a complete newbie with composer.
I did manage to install a regular drupal with composer.
when i run the post-obit command
composer require 'drupal/addtocal:2.x-dev@dev'
I become this fault bulletin
[InvalidArgumentException]
Could not find a matching version of package drupal/addtocal. Check the pac
kage spelling, your version constraint and that the bundle is available in
a stability which matches your minimum-stability (stable).
what did I do incorrect ? thanks ;-)
Sounds like
minimum-stability: stable
is set in your composer.json file. Y'all'll need to ready it todev
to install dev branches, or setting it tobeta
should allow you to install the beta version of this module (composer require drupal/addtocal:^two.0@beta
).Composer docs hither: https://getcomposer.org/doc/04-schema.medico#minimum-stability
We will be releasing a stable ii.0 version at some point, but hopefully this helps unblock in the meantime :)
hi there,
I indeed managed to use composer properly on my local machine and install addtocal 8.ten-1.1
I faced both difficulties for me to utilise properly composer and having consequence with dev or beta version non installing.
I am non knowledgable enough to experiment with patches.
Thank you to @wxactly and @aritrika.d for reacting to my post.

Really, it is none of the above!
The version constraint used is invalid. You lot don't mix branch with stability. When using a co-operative the minimum stability is not relevant. minimum stability is only considered when using a proper constraint. Using stability in your constraint overrides minimum stability for your site. No patch needed as the minimum stability in root is the only one considered.
examples:
2.x-dev To get that particular branch
^2@dev To become the most recent release to a higher place 2, currently 2.0.0-beta3
^2 To get the almost recent release in a higher place ii respecting minimum stability for your site
Although there is not need for minimum stability in the module itself, information technology is not relevant to this back up request. No issues report for this module!
Also recommend to use the proper syntax, rather than the programmer shortcut (package:version). The proper syntax has a separate version constraint. The shortcut is not recognized everywhere, resulting in the error message when not valid.
Thanks @mmjvb - yeah, this ticket has gone off the rails a bit. The patch above doesn't do anything to address the original problem, and information technology sounds like @geufroi was able to get a stable version of this module working.
Hello all,
is it possible to install calendar-links via Ludviq ? I cannot use composer on my prod site.

@coaston Assuming you lot mean Ludwig, it tin can be used to install whatever module. It just requires to take an ludwig.json, which you tin can provide yourself. Propose to create a support issue for that project requesting a ludwig.json, providing the one y'all created.
@mmjvb thank you, will practise and so.
Only can yous tell me the folder proper noun where the lib should be downladed? Like /lib/calendar-lists/... merely this i does not work.

You don't need to install composer in production. You lot only need to install composer on your own reckoner.
1. Copy your website files to your computer
2. Install composer (If you're on windows there's a downloadable installer)
3. Run composer require drupal/addtocal
4. Copy all the files back to your web hosting

Once more, suggest to create an issue in the project yous are talking about. Doesn't sound related to this event! Put a link to that upshot hither.
Peradventure so it is possible to answer the question you lot have, currently information technology doesn't make sense as you did non provide the needed details. Y'all need to put your question in the correct context, otherwise it is anybodies estimate.
Yeah this 1, i got the same error message. Only tnx to @devad it has been resolved. Perfect plugin!

You already plant the answer to your question, just for others: modules/[module]/lib/[bundle]/[version]
where package is [provider]-[library]
[module]: addtocal
[provider]: spatie
[library]: calendar-links
[version]: v1.5.0
.../modules/addtocal/lib/spatie-calendar-links/v1.five.0
